Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
In Trondheim, we stayed at Brittania Hotel, which opened its doors in 1897.  Eating breakfast in its magnificent dining room is highly recommended. We also visited Kristiansten Fort, from which you can get magnificent views of Trondheim.  The fort dates from 1676, and my sister and I were lucky to visit on a beautiful day.

The city of Roros is situated not far from Trondheim.  The city is on UNESCO's heritage list, mainly for being an old mining town.  This picture is from the Olav mine.  The trip takes you down 50 meters below ground level, and it makes you realize that any mining related job really must suck. A picture from the center of Roros city, which is pretty and unique in its own way.  Unfortunately we did not have much time to explore it, thus I can not say with confidence that it deserves to be on UNESCO's list.  Today, all the mines are closed and the town appears to live mainly of tourism.

Finally, a couple of pictures of yours truly out in a tiny boat. If you need final proof that I am really attractive, this should suffice.
