Jan Visits Various Places in Japan


In August, I went with some people from work on yakatabune (Japanese cruise boat). It is basically a Japanese boat that takes you around Tokyo Bay while serving food and beer.	Later the same month, I went on a trip to Nagatoro. It is a destination easily accessible from Tokyo by train.

This time around, we rented bicycles and had a look around the area.	Close by Nagatoro station, we saw this steam train that was doing some sort of historic trip.

Another picture of the steam train.	During the second weekend in September, I made another trip to the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka. This is from the Suspension Bridge at Jogasaki.
