Today, we went to visit Florida Keys and the southernmost point of continental USA, namely Key West. The latter city actually surprised me in a positive way, though it seems like 1 million dollars is the minimum required to purchase an apartment or a vacation house there. As we noticed in Miami Beach yesterday, there are plently of gays and other lifestyle eccentrics around, one guy was running around on a bicycle wearing an Elvis costume and red hair. Ernest Hemmingway wrote many of his books while in Key West, thus I guess I should try to read some of his work while I get back to Tokyo. The question is only where I am going to find the time.
