Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Is A Funny Man

Turkey's Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, quoted the Sixth commandment before walking out of a meeting in Davos yesterday. Telling Simon Peres that "Thou shall not kill", he must for a second have forgot Turkey's own human rights abuses.

European anti-semites do not care about Turkey's occupation of Kurdistan as Jews are not involved in the conflict, though the Kurdistan Workers' Party seems like a humanistic organization when compared with Hamas. The PKK does not want to implement gender apartheid and does not have as a goal to exterminate the Turkish people.

According to sources quoted in Wikipedia, "the Turkish Armed Forces have destroyed some 8000 Kurdish communities and created 3 to 4 million refugees in the process".

After returning to Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a hero's welcome, though it hopefully is a Pyrrhic victory in terms of public relations. Turkey certainly did not strengthen their chances for EU membership by having their prime minister become the fool of Europe for one day (giving Silvio Berlusconi some competition). The next time Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wants to behave like a child, hopefully he will do so in private.

I am surprised to see that Shimon Peres afterwards (on January 31) called Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to apologize. To any neutral obsever, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan should be the one to apologize. On the same day, Israel was attacked by more rockets from the Gaza Strip.
