Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Like any supermodel, I decided to sit half-naked in the sun to get some tan.  Of course, I simply ended up really sunburned.  I hate being white. Yuka decided not to swim, as she was worried about getting "sick".  Hmm.

Okay, please do not ask me to explain this one.  If Monthy Python were to make another movie, they should get this crazy idiot.  In the middle of the jungle, we found this guy walking in a suit, and with a briefcase!  I am nok joking about this one.  Japanese people have to be seen to be believed.

After returning from the waterfall, we rented a canoe and paddled out on a small exploration. Actually, there was a small river nearby that can not be accessed by larger boats.  It made for an excellent trip.

Yuka paddles away, her first time in a canoe ever. Renting a canoe is highly recommended, as it is an excellent way to get away from all the tourists.  Japanese people do not dare to go anywhere without a guide - take advantage of it!

On our last day in Okinawa, we went to Ishigaki-jima.  The island is located just north of Iriomote-jima, and is quite developed with resorts and roads all over the island.  This shot is from Kabira-wan, a beach with a protected coral reef (making swimming illegal). Close to Kabira-wan, however, we found a beach that allowed swimming.  This time, Yuka jumped in as well.  From Ishigaki-jima, we took a plane to Naha, the biggest city in Okinawa and located on the largest island.  The city is like most major towns in Japan, though evidently influenced by its attractive location.  Watch out, however, for American marines, who generally tend to be only a bit brighter than mokeys on the intelligence scale.  In that sense, they are the most dangerous wildlife on Okinawa.
